At Monday evening’s meeting, the Randolph County Board of Commissioners approved a significant increase in local funding for the Randolph County School System for the 2026–2027 school year. This investment reflects a strong commitment to supporting student success and strengthening educational opportunities across our school system.

The leadership of our school system extends our sincere appreciation to the County Commissioners for their continued support of our schools, staff, and students. We also thank the members of the Board of Education for their dedication, leadership, and hard work throughout the budget development process. The collaborative efforts of these two groups of elected officials have helped secure important resources that will benefit the students in the Randolph County School System.

Congratulations to Trinity High School Wrestling Coach Brandon Coggins for winning the CCC - Charles Elmore Coach of the Year. He was honored today at a banquet held by the Thomasville Rotary Club. Coach Coggins and staff had an amazing run this year and we are excited to see what the future holds!
