A little rain didn't stop us this weekend! Some of our THS Betas volunteered at the 2026 High Point Special Olympics Golf Tour this past Saturday. Betas helped run stations, handout awards, and support the athletes. A special thanks to High Point Parks & Recreation and Special Olympics NC for having us!

2027–28 FAFSA Now Open
The 2027–28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open. Students planning to attend postsecondary education should complete the FAFSA as soon as possible to be considered for federal, state and institutional grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities and loans.
For North Carolina public high school seniors, FAFSA completion is an important next step after exploring NC College Connect, which provides eligible seniors with direct admission to colleges and universities where they already meet admissions requirements without the traditional application process. After reviewing and accepting their college offers, students should consider exploring the FAFSA to learn what financial assistance may be available to help make college more affordable.

Attention Parents and Students! The PSAT is coming to THS on Thursday, October 8th. The PSAT is a free and optional test given during the school day that is used to prepare students for the SAT. Any current 9th, 10th or 11th grade student interested in signing up for the PSAT should do so by Friday, September 18 at 4:00 pm. Juniors who complete this test could qualify for national merit scholarships. The PSAT will be limited to the first 75 students who sign up. Please contact Mrs. Burkhart if you have any questions regarding the PSAT.
