Friday Filled with Bulldog Spirit and Fire Safety at Archdale Elementary

Archdale Elementary School welcomed a special dose of school spirit and community partnership on Friday, October 9, as student-athletes from Trinity High School and members of the Guil-Rand Fire Department helped make the day memorable for young learners.

Members of Trinity High School’s football and cheerleading teams greeted students as they arrived at school, opening doors and welcoming them with energy, enthusiasm, and plenty of Bulldog spirit! Their positive attitudes and friendly smiles helped students start their day on a high note while demonstrating the power of older students serving as inspiring role models for younger learners.

The excitement continued in kindergarten classrooms as the Guil-Rand Fire Department visited to share important fire safety lessons. Students enjoyed an engaging, interactive session featuring a special appearance by Sparky the Fire Dog. They also had the opportunity to get an up-close look at a real fire truck, making the learning experience both fun and memorable.

Archdale Elementary is grateful to its community partners for taking time to connect with students, encourage school spirit, and provide meaningful learning experiences. These special visits remind students that their community is cheering them on and helping them learn and grow every day!

Thank you to Trinity High School’s student-athletes and the Guil-Rand Fire Department for making Friday such a wonderful day at Archdale Elementary!
