At our 2024-2025 Employee Recognition Program on May 19, we awarded a Distinguished Educator and an Outstanding Employee from each of our 31 schools. Also recognized were employees from across our school district who received “Special Honors” awards. See the complete list of award recipients: https://5il.co/3gp7r

The “Pride in the Randolph County School System (RCSS)” program honors employees who consistently demonstrate pride in the school system and exemplify strong character and commitment in their everyday work. While the program primarily highlights smaller, often unnoticed acts of dedication, it also recognizes exceptional efforts tied to larger events when appropriate.
Employees chosen for this recognition are awarded a “Pride in the Randolph County School System” lapel pin. Recipients are selected by members of the RCSS Leadership Team, school principals, or Board of Education members.
The following pages list the “Pride in RCSS” pin recipients from May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025. We extend our sincere thanks to these outstanding employees for their dedication to the Randolph County School System.

🌟 Teacher Appreciation Week is here! 🌟
Let’s come together to celebrate the Shining Stars of Trindale Elementary — our incredible teachers who light the way for our children every single day. ✨📚
Parents, your support means the world! Whether it’s a kind note, a small treat, or a heartfelt “thank you,” every gesture makes a difference. Let’s show our Trindale teachers just how much they’re loved and appreciated! 💙✏️

We all want to be Mrs. Phillips! We can't let today slip away without saying, "Happy School Principals Day," to a vital part of our school. Whether it’s welcoming students with a smile or giving big hallway hugs; she always knows how to lead our students and staff. Thank you Mrs. Phillips for helping us all shine bring like the STARS that we are.

RCSS Principals are a vital part of our school communities. They work hard to make the most of each school year. They inspire both students and staff to grow and thrive. Thank you, RCSS Principals, for leading our schools!

These tours helped showcase different courses available to our fifth graders as they begin their CTE journey .

What did Trindale Elementary do to celebrate Earth Day?!
Our amazing 2nd graders rolled up their sleeves to celebrate our planet and make our school a little more beautiful. By working together and planting flowers, they showed just how much they care about the Earth—and our Trindale community. Way to go, second grade! Let’s keep working together to take care of our world!

We can't let this week sneak by without giving a huge shoutout to the one and only Rachael Fry in honor of National Assistant Principals Week!
Mrs. Fry is the kind of leader who shows up every single day with dedication, heart, and an unshakable commitment to our students and staff. Whether she’s solving problems behind the scenes, supporting teachers, cheering on students, or just being the calm in the chaos—she does it all with grace and grit.
Thank you, Mrs. Fry, for being such a vital part of our STAR family. We appreciate your leadership, your passion, and your unwavering support more than words can say!
