About Mrs. Groves
Mrs. Groves grew up in Ohio and moved to NC after her Sophomore year in High School. She graduated from Mooresville High School in 2002 and attended North Carolina State University, where she double-majored in Mathematics Education and Statistics. Mrs. Groves received her BS degrees in 2006 and began her teaching career at Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, NC. She taught at Ragsdale from 2006-2018, mostly teaching Geometry and Math 2. Mrs. Groves has worked at Trinity High School since August 2018 as the Lead Teacher. She loves being a part of the Bulldog family!
Mrs. Groves got married in 2006 to her husband, Charlie, and they have one son who currently attends Trinity Middle School. She is also a dog mom to a Labradoodle named Olive. In her free time, Mrs. Groves likes to spend time with her family, go to the beach, and cheer on the Wolfpack!
Mrs. Groves was accepted into the PPEERS (Principal Preparation for Excellence and Equity in Rural Schools) 4 Program and has begun work toward earning her Masters of School Administration. She is projected to graduate from UNCG in May 2025.
