Subjects Taught
English I, English III

I graduated from UNC-G in 1984 with a degree in Communications and a minor in English. After 10 years spent mostly writing and editing, I went back to Appalachian State University to get my teaching degree.

I taught English for six years in Wake County, then another seven years in Wilson County.

I grew up in Star, and I have long wanted to return to this area of the state. I look forward to teaching here for many years to come! I have been married to my husband Ken for 26 years. I have a step-daughter named Holly who is currently getting her Ph.D. at Virginia Tech and a son, Andrew, who is a sophomore at Appalachian State!
