Cadets/Parents,

Below are the awards that NC-941 Cadets have earned throughout the year.  I just want to say that I am very proud of all that have dedicated their time and effort throughout the year to help NC-941 earn the Distinguished Unit Award and also contributed to the success of the unit over the past School Year.  This wasn't a normal year and I wish we were giving these awards out during our yearly ceremony but no matter how you are receiving them, you still earned them and the right to wear them.
The first portion are the ribbons that cadets have earned at the local unit level, and the 2nd portion are the cadets earned an award(s) on a National Level.  These awards go to those select few that have earned recognition for Academic Achievements, Community Service Dedication and Outstanding Dedication to NC-941/ AFJROTC, and Outstanding Leadership within the Corps, School and Community.
Cadets that have volunteered to be a part of the Color Guard in the July Graduation Ceremonies (and Graduating Senior Cadets) will receive your Awards/Ribbons a couple days prior (during a pre-graduation practice) to place on your uniform (will contact you once time/date has been established).  Rest of the cadets will receive your awards and build your Ribbon Ranks upon return to school next year.  Attached is a ribbon/award chart that provides what each ribbon/award looks like and how to place it in accordance....bottom to top is award precedence when placing on your ribbon rack (see cadet guide for guidance as well).
Thanks again for all your hard work and effort over the past school year and look forward to when we get back to a normal school day, week and year!
